Cameron Brown ARB RIBA RIAS is a Chartered Architect working across Kinross and the surrounding areas of Fife, Perthshire, Clackmannanshire and beyond.

Growing up in rural Kinross within a family construction business, Cameron developed an early understanding of buildings, materials, the practicalities of construction and the Scottish landscape. This hands-on experience, combined with extensive local knowledge, continues to inform his approach to architecture today.

Cameron has worked with award-winning architectural practices in London, Glasgow and rural Scotland. His work combines thoughtful design with strong technical understanding and is shaped by an interest in heritage, community and the relationship between buildings and their setting.

Alongside practice, Cameron is a part-time tutor on the University of Dundee Master’s course and lectures internationally as part of the University’s joint programme with Wuhan University in China.

Cameron is actively involved in his local community serving on two community development trusts and a community hydro fund.. The issue of rural places, regeneration and the role communities can play in reshaping the built environment is a key part of Cameron’s practice. He also runs Fossoway Memories, an online heritage project sharing the history, stories and archival material of the Fossoway area in Kinross.
